Dreams, one of the UK's largest bed specialists, has embarked on an extensive refit and new store opening programme across the country. RMS has been supporting this initiative, assisting with projects at multiple sites as part of the ongoing store development works.
Despite being a relatively new account for RMS, the team has already made significant contributions. In the last month, our teams have worked across five separate sites, delivering key aspects of the refit and store opening processes.
With no signs of the programme slowing down, RMS remains committed to supporting Dreams as they continue to grow and evolve their retail spaces.
Approach
RMS was tasked with assisting Dreams in transforming both existing and new locations, ensuring that each store was ready to welcome customers with a seamless and inviting retail experience.
Leveraging our experience in retail refits and new store openings, our teams worked closely with Dreams' in-store teams to provide tailored support. Over the course of several weeks, our dedicated field teams focused on everything from logistical assistance to on-site management, ensuring each store was perfectly set up for success.
In East Sheen, RMS managed key aspects of the new store opening, including layout adjustments, fixture installations, and fine-tuning the visual displays. Our collaborative approach ensured that Dreams’ vision was flawlessly executed, with the East Sheen store ready to open its doors on schedule.

Challenges
Dreams’ store refit and opening schedule required meticulous planning, coordination and attention to detail. One of the key challenges during the East Sheen project was the tight timeframe for the store’s preparation. With only a few weeks to complete everything from fixture installation to final store setup, the pressure was on to meet the opening day deadline. RMS maintained clear communication with Dreams’ in-store team and worked diligently to ensure the project remained on schedule.
Results
The Dreams store in East Sheen officially opened to the public on Friday, 27th September, and the store looked fantastic.
The success of the partnership can be attributed not only to the high quality of the work delivered but also to the relationships built with the teams on-site. Dreams’ Project Managers have regularly requested RMS personnel by name for subsequent projects, which is a testament to the fantastic standards delivered in-store.
