Career Background
I started my career in project management as a Graduate Project Manager for Haygrove in Herefordshire, supporting new infrastructure and maintenance projects throughout the businesses multiple locations.
The bulk of my project management career stems from my time with a retail design agency based in Bristol. The role provided me with great opportunities in the retail sector, allowing me to gain valuable experience in retail display design, costing, production, delivery and installation across UK, European and global supply chains.
I managed a FSDU roll out and maintenance project for one of the biggest gaming console companies with units delivered and installed all over the world and I was also fortunate enough to work on exciting bespoke retail displays for premium champagne brands that were installed in Harrods. Latterly, I was involved in a project for a leading UK sports car brand, which was a global project and managed installations in the USA and the UK.
Joining RMS
In 2022, I decided it was time for a new challenge and RMS presented a great opportunity, with an existing client mix and ambitious growth strategy for the next 5 years, I knew it would be an ideal fit for me.
My role at RMS consists of planning and executing project delivery, from material specifications, procurement, distribution and resource allocation. The key to delivering a good project is risk management, we're constantly reviewing all aspects of the job to ensure timely delivery is provided to the best standard.
The variety of clients and the type of projects and locations that we work in, means that no two days are ever the same. Recently, as a Project Management team we have worked on complete retail fit outs in motorway services stations, refurb construction works at premises for car manufacturing as well as facilities maintenance work at various public sector buildings and supermarkets.
I am looking forward to continuing to service RMS’ existing clients with project management support and hopefully continue to grow our client base. We have been fortunate enough to work on a great mix of projects so far this year and I am very excited for some of the projects we have coming up later this year.
A bit about me
Outside of work, I thoroughly enjoy competitive clay shooting, where I have represented Wales for many years and have enjoyed opportunities to compete across Europe and America.
I also have a passion for classic cars and currently have a Mini Cooper that I complete in rallying within the HRCR MiniSport Cup!
