Supporting Ireland's DIY Market Leader

Alongside our extensive and varied work for retail partners throughout the UK, RMS also supports retailers within the Republic of Ireland.  This includes Woodies, a DIY and home improvement retailer, founded in Dublin in 1987.  Woodies is part of Grafton Group plc and is the market leader in the Irish DIY sector with over 30 stores throughout the country. 

Since completing a pilot project in 2016, RMS and Woodies have been working closely together in partnership.  We initially provided Woodies with merchandising services including replenishing stock and changing seasonal promotions.  This helps them to deliver a great shopping experience for their customers and ensure that their sales are maximised. 

Planned and coordinated from our Belfast office, we are able to use our extensive experience within the DIY sector to react quickly to Woodies’ requirements and to provide them with teams of highly skilled merchandising staff as and when required, particularly during peak seasonal times. 

Expanding our Support Services

 Since 2018, RMS has extended its service offering to Woodies.  As well as providing merchandising services, we also now deliver installation services for every Woodies store project that we deliver in Ireland.  Our team provide a comprehensive, end-to-end service and are present from the very beginning of each project, installing all new equipment, profiling, and then merchandising to a high level. 

In early 2020, RMS was commissioned to work on the transformation of office floor space at the company’s Head Office in Dublin, demonstrating our ability to provide services beyond the shop floor.
